Order modification or cancellation

Customers can request a refund or modify order information before the item is shipped.

Purchases may not be changed or cancelled without authorization from ICAN. If authorized, 10% of the purchase value ($30 minimum) may be charged to cover restocking and operating costs. If the order is refunded due to customer reasons, the customer needs to pay a certain amount of handling fee if produced.

A cancellation made after the product has shipped is treated as a “return” with all applicable fees. Please ref to our Product Return Policy.

Claims for damage or loss of package

Please inspect the package carefully before signing.

(1) If there is no damage, sign for the product. If there is damage, report this on the delivery slip or, alternatively, refuse the shipment and it will be returned to ICAN Wheels. If a claim is made against the shipping company, they will provide a compensation number. Please inform ICAN Wheels of this number for delivery tracking. Arrangements for reshipment will be made within 10 business days upon receiving the returned item.

(2) If the items are damaged but accepted and not reported, there is no recourse against the delivery company and you are responsible for purchasing any replacement product.

(3) If the package is in good condition, but the product is significantly damaged in transit, please keep the waybill, packaging, etc., and contact us (peggy@icanwheels.com) within 7 days after the delivery.

If the shipment gets lost in transit, please get in touch with us (peggy@icanwheels.com) immediately.

Warranty Policy

Every ICAN frame and rim has a useful product life cycle. Each bike, frame and rim will have a unique identification number and warranty card. Complete the provided card and warranty form, and send them to us. Failure to use the provided warranty card will void your warranty. Save your dated receipt for proof of purchase.

Frame and Rim

Applies to all ICAN and Triaero brand bike frame, and FL series, AERO Series Nova Series and Alpha series rim.

Coverage: 

2-year warranty from the date of purchase.

**2-year Warranty from the date of purchase applies to items purchased from 07/01/2020 forward.

Conditions:

  1. If any manufacturing defect occurs within 30 days of the date of purchase, is obligated to replace the rim(s) and also pay for the shipping cost. If any manufacturing defect occurs after 31 days and up to 2 years, ICAN is obligated to replace the product(s). The product owner is responsible for shipping costs.
  2. If we no longer make the rim you purchased we’ll upgrade you to the newest equivalent model at no extra cost.
  3. The Warranty program is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (bearings, spokes, nipples, brake tracks, tires, inner tubes, pawls, freehub, seals, rim tape etc.)
  • Products which have been incorrectly installed and/or adjusted.
  • Issues brought about by neglect or poor maintenance.
  • Surface finish and cosmetic treatments (anodizing, decals, etc.)
  • Crash damage.
  • Consequential or incidental damages (where applicable)
  • Products purchased “second-hand”, “used”, “as-is”, or expressly “without warranty”
  • Counterfeit products
  • Unauthorized modification or alteration, including without limitation, any repair performed by anyone other than ICAN or an ICAN-authorized servicer, or outside of the recommendations of ICAN Customer Service

Tips:Please contact the official support of ICAN at the first time when you find a quality problem. Please do not repair our products privately, otherwise we will not bear any warranty.

The following will void your warranty

  • Misuse (Jumping, trick riding, etc.)
  • Modification of wheels
  • Tire pressure exceeding 140psi
  • Improper assembly
  • Installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for, or not compatible with the wheelsets sold.
  • Use of brake pads not designed for carbon wheels

    Components and accessories

    All ICAN components, such as but not limited to the following: fork, seatpost, stem, handlebar, saddle, headset, and crankset.

    NOTE: All ICAN items are warrantied under normal use.

    All cracked or damaged products or photos must be sent to ICAN Factory to analyze. If the frame or rims are deemed to be damaged or cracked do due to excess abuse by the owner, then the warranty on those parts will be null and void. However, ICAN may offer a discount for the replacement parts.

    Crash Replacement Policy

    The Crash Replacement Policy is to cover accidental crash or mis-use such as casing a big jump or drop, accidents, rock strikes etc.

    Product Group: All bike frame and rims on our website.

    Discount: 15% discount of the retail price.

    Conditions:

    1. The Standard Crash Replacement Policy is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.
    2. Any problem found on the warranty replacement product should be claimed within 7 days after the replacement is received, otherwise, the replacement is viewed as settled. The warranty period applies to the original purchase date and does not reset with a replacement rim.
    3. Please note that you are responsible for any associated shipping costs, customs, and duties.

    Products Refunds and Exchanges

    The return policy is only valid for customers who place an order on the website.If the product you received does not match your order, do not use the product, and contact our customer service team (peggy@icanwheels.com).

    If a return and refund is granted, it will be subject to the conditions below, unless otherwise agreed to by ICAN Wheels:

    1. The product is returned within 30 days from date of the original purchase.
    2. The product is resalable; in the original packaging, un-used, and un-mounted.
    3. The product is damaged due to uncontrollable factors during the transportation process.
    4. Please reference your packing slip to complete the return form, and include with the item you wish to return or exchange.

    Fine Print

    • Items returned for a refund or exchange are subject to inspection by the returns team.
    • The product is damaged due to uncontrollable factors during the process of transportation,Please contact us within 3 working days and show us as much proof, photos, videos etc as possible.We will support return or replacement.
    • New items or Repaired items will be shipped to you as soon as we receive the items for replacement.
    • We will process the refund for the item within 3 business days after we recieve the items.
    • Onced refuses to sign for the package for personal reasons,the customer will need to bear the freight incurred during the transportation.

    For personal reasons, if you apply for a return or exchange, you will have to bear the corresponding costs.The customer is responsible for all fees associated with returns:

    (1) 10% of the initial purchase value (minimum $50 USD) will be charged for restocking and refurbishment.

    (2) Shipping costs, customs, duties, and any other fees unless otherwise stated in the warranty policy.

    • If the products you buy have been shipped from China

    You will need to pay for the return freight and the shipping fees incurred transportation.Shipping costs in different countries may be different, please consult the your customer sales for the specific cost details.

    • If the products you buy have been shipped from overseas warehouse

    (1) 10% of the initial purchase value (minimum $50 USD) will be charged for restocking and refurbishment.

    (2) Shipping costs, customs, duties, and any other fees unless otherwise stated in the warranty policy.

    Supplementary Regulations for Refunds:

    • Once we approve your refund request, we will promptly process your refund within five working days
    • The amount of the refund is based on the amount of US dollars we actually received, and we are not responsible for the exchange rate loss caused by the customer's refund process.
